Turning, Depth Charge gives Mayday a rather unreadable look around his fin.

"Do what you want," he answers at last, lifting his gun into the ready position over his shoulder pauldrons. "Just don't get in my way."

It's said a lot... gentler than Depth Charge would have done before his stay with the Maximal exploration team. The manta still doesn't stick around to listen to Mayday's answer though, opting to just start heading off.
